Before becoming a 6-month one-on-one student, Kelly felt defeated.  She had tried to lose weight with popular diets and had more knowledge than most people, having taught group fitness for 8 years before having kids.

During the intensive, she lost 1-2 inches off most parts of her body.  She also experienced a ton of non-scale victories, like feeling more energetic and watching her kids’ eating habits change. After the intensive, she continued to lose weight on her own.

Lisa came to the Wellness Reborn Intensive after many “failed” attempts at losing weight, when her doctor advised her she needed to lose weight for her health.  A young-at-heart woman with several years under her belt, she had extremely high blood pressure and had been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.

During the intensive, Lisa experienced challenges like her spouse’ cancer diagnoses, a child’s mental health crisis, COVID and more.  Regardless, she lost 16 lbs and her blood pressure returned to normal.  She was nearly downgraded from diabetes to prediabetes.

“Lauren invited me to a 10 day Skinny Jeans Challenge last November. It had been about 6 months since I stopped nursing and I had gained somewhere around 10 pounds. I was not happy with my weight and struggled to find the time to work out with a 2 year old.

The meal plan she provided focused on portion control and the meals were all very simple. She included a shopping list and visuals which made it so much easier to follow! I made a goal for myself to workout at least 5 times a week and I stuck to it for the 10 days.

I lost 5 pounds by the end of the 10 days but what I learned from the 10 days was even more exciting. I never realized how much I was eating at each meal compared to how much I actually needed to eat in order to be full. Thinking about portion control really changed my mindset about being healthy and put me on the right track to continue to lose weight.

Lauren was so kind to check in with me and see how I was doing. She posted daily and even though I did not regularly post, I always took a moment to answer her question in my head for myself. There was never any pressure but I knew I could ask Lauren anything and I loved that.

I have continued to use the meal plan as I guideline and workout between 5 and 6 times a week. I can’t wait to see what challenge she has next!”
